How We Serve — DaisyMe Foundation: Free Health Navigation, Insurance Help & Community Education
How We Serve
Three ways we walk beside you — always free. DaisyMe is a small, founder-led team — we take on a few neighbors at a time so every person gets a real person.
Finding doctors, clinics, and free screenings near you.
Our community health navigators connect with individuals and families — by phone, video, text, or in community settings — and help them understand their options, find local providers and programs, and take the next step with confidence.
We connect people to free and low-cost preventive health screenings, primary care, and specialty referrals across Dallas-Fort Worth and Texas.
Who this is for
- Uninsured or underinsured individuals
- Families facing coverage changes or Medicaid transitions
- People who have been turned away or don't know where to go
- Anyone who feels lost in the healthcare system
Plain-language help with plans, bills, and benefits.
Confusing paperwork, changing insurance rules, and bills that don't make sense — our navigators make it simpler. We help you understand your coverage options, read your Explanation of Benefits, and know what questions to ask.
We also help individuals learn to advocate for themselves and their families in healthcare settings, and understand their rights as a patient. Our workshops cover health literacy fundamentals and how to navigate the healthcare system with confidence.
Who this is for
- People confused by insurance paperwork or billing
- Families navigating Medicaid, ACA marketplace, or employer plans
- Anyone who wants to understand their rights as a patient
- Community members who want to build health literacy skills
Connecting you to transportation resources so appointments actually happen.
Our free community workshops meet people where they already gather — churches, schools, community centers, and neighborhood events across DFW. We help people plan for appointments, understand what to expect, and follow through with confidence.
We cover the topics that matter most: chronic disease prevention (diabetes, hypertension, heart disease), maternal and infant health, and mental health and wellness — in plain language, without medical jargon.
Who this is for
- Community members who want to understand their health better
- Faith communities and neighborhood groups
- Families managing chronic conditions
- Anyone who wants free, practical health education close to home
Guided Path Advocacy — when you need one person in your corner
Alongside our free community services, DaisyMe Foundation also includes Guided Path Advocacy — for neighbors who need a dedicated advocate walking with them one-on-one: through care decisions, medical bills, insurance appeals, and everything in between. Guided Path is a paid advocacy service, and it exists for one reason: no one should have to fight the healthcare system alone. Our community navigation, health literacy, and advocacy education stay free for every neighbor — Guided Path is simply the deeper, one-on-one arm of the same house.
One advocate.
One neighbor.
One path forward.
Dedicated, one-on-one support — for the moments when the system feels too big to face alone.
Simple. Supportive. Free.
